Central Executive Committee

ANTA Central Executive Committee (CEC) consists of Executive Officers, Members, Immediate Past President, and Chapter Presidents representing each affiliated Chapter. The Executive Committee formulates policies, plans, and implements the programs and activities to achieve the objectives of the Association. The CEC reviews any proposal and makes the final decision in this regard.

  • Dr. Mridula Gupta

    Dr. Mridula Gupta (President)

    Mridula Gupta is from Biratnagar, Nepal, and resides in Columbus, Ohio for the past 17 years. She completed her Masters and Ph.D. in the USA. She currently serves for the State of Ohio as an Environmental Specialist.

    As a Life Member of ANTA, she has served as an Advisor in ANTA for her 2020-2022 tenure. On a local level, she is an active member of the Columbus Ohio Nepali Association. She is an ardent supporter of culture and traditions. She has organized and hosted several cultural events like Dashain, Teej, Holi, annual picnics, and Holi for Columbus Nepali Community.

    Outside her professional and volunteer work, she is a busy mother raising two kids.

  • Dinesh Mandal (Sr. Vice President)

    Dinesh Mandal is natively from Lahan, Siraha, Nepal. He went to Shree Bastipur Secondary School, Lahan. He completed B.E. in Computer Engineering from Pokhara University, Nepal, and Masters's from Delhi Technological University, Delhi, India.

    He holds more than 17 years of professional experience in the field of IT in various domains and Industries in India before moving to the USA in 2019. He has interests in arts, literature, science, religion, and economics.

    He firmly believes in the importance of society and community as they are the roots and soil of every individual. Currently, he lives with his family in Mechanicsburg, PA. He works as a Solution Architect in a reputed US-based Consulting Firm.

  • Dr. Khushbu Mishra (Vice President - National)

    Khushbu Mishra hails from Janakpur, Nepal. She moved to the UK for high school and then to the US for college. She finished her Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Ohio State University and is currently an Assistant Professor at Stetson University, FL.

    Born in a rural society in Nepal, where most families depend on agriculture for their living, Mishra researches on innovative solutions to ending social inequalities in developing, agrarian economies.

    In her personal life, she continued the same passion by being engaged with the home country of Nepal in many development projects through Nepali organizations like Daayitwa Foundation, Sano Paila, Madhesi Youth, and ANTA.

  • Anil Mallik (Vice President - International)

    Anil Mallik (Vice President - International)

    Mr. Anil Mallik is originally from Jhapa and currently lives in Des Moines, Iowa. Professionally works as a senior accountant for MetLife. He has an Accounting Specialist Degree (DMACC) and has 25 years of experience in the pharmaceuticals industry in Nepal.

    He is an ANTA veteran and has worked for various projects/programs for the organization. His hobby includes writing poems, short stories, and Ghazals, especially in his mother language Maithili. Recently he contributed his poems for the “Bhavpreeta” book.

  • Tauleshwar Chaudhary (General Secretary)

    Tauleshwar Chaudhary, residing in Dublin, Ohio, is a Sr Data Analytics Manager at JPMorgan Chase, where he brings over a decade of expertise to his role. He holds dual Master's degrees, specializing in Mathematics from TU, Nepal (2003), and Biostatistics from NCCU, USA (2016).

    His passion for education led him to teach mathematics at COSMOS College and various +2 colleges in Kathmandu. As a life member of ANTA, he has served as Joint Secretary in the 2020-2022 committee, showcasing his leadership abilities and commitment to community service.

    Beyond his professional commitments, Tauleshwar actively volunteers with organizations such as CONA, Bharatiya Hindu Temple, and Chase AsPIRE. In his leisure, he enjoys exploring new destinations with his family and friends.

  • Jayanti Mishra Jha

    Jayanti Mishra Jha (Joint Secretary)

    Mrs. Jayanti Mishra Jha originates from Janakpur, Nepal, and relocated to the USA in 2011. She obtained her MA in Sociology from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, Nepal. Currently, she serves as a Payroll Manager at Team Placement Services.

    Mrs. Jha, residing in Florida with family, strongly advocates for the preservation of culture and tradition as a means of staying connected to the roots.

  • Santosh Sah (Treasurer)

    Santosh Sah, a native of Meghraul, Mahottari, Nepal, is a highly skilled accounting professional. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Harikhetan Multiple Campus Birgunj, Nepal, and furthered his education with a Master's degree in accounting from Rutgers University, USA.

    With a wealth of experience acquired from diverse roles in multiple CPA firms, Santosh currently serves as an auditor in a renowned Public Accounting firm. His expertise also extends to professional tax preparation, holding a valuable license in the field.

    Santosh's multifaceted skill set, academic background, and professional experience make him an asset in the realm of accounting, ensuring precision and compliance in financial matters.

  • Basant Chaudhary (Joint Treasurer)

    Basant Chaudhary is from Kansas City, MO, USA. He is originally from Khutta Piparadhi-3, Mahottari, Nepal. He completed +2 from Dhanusha Science Campus, Nepal. He completed his Associate degree from Metropolitan Community College, Kansas City, MO, and currently pursuing his Mechanical Engineering

  • Prabhat Jha (Spokesperson)

    Prabhat Jha is ANTA’s Vice President (International). A native of Suga-4, Jaleshwar, Mahottari, he did his MBA from the University of Pune and received his MS in Data Science/Analytics at Northeastern University in 2019. He currently works at Cummins.

    Mr. Jha is passionate about social issues and brings a dynamic and frank view to the team and has been a solid supporter of ANTA. He lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.

  • Ruby Dev (Chief Technology Officer)

    Mrs. Ruby Dev is a Software Engineer and currently living in Los Angeles, CA, originally from Kathmandu, Nepal. She has completed her B.Tech degree from NIT Rourkela and MBA from Bangalore. She also worked as HR Coordinator for Epsilon, India before coming to the US where she worked with the company’s CSR team in making a positive difference in community’s life through various outreach programs.

    She is a proud mom of a 2 year old and loves creating life-long memories and celebrating life with her. She has been representing ANTA as a CTO for over 3 years and is very proud of the work that ANTA has done over the years for the betterment of the community.

  • Shyamli K. Sah

    Shyamli K. Sah (CEC Member)

    Shyamli K. Sah is the President of the California Chapter. She is the first female chapter President in ANTA under the current Central Executive Committee.

    Mrs. Sah is a successful entrepreneur & a thorough businesswoman alongside her husband Mr. Pramod K Sah, and a loving mother of two daughters. Her association with ANTA goes back to early 2000 when ANTA was still in its infancy and she served as the Treasurer of the California Chapter. Since then, she has been active in the Bay area helping the community with socioeconomic well-being & advancement when there is a need.

  • Dr. Namrata GR Raut

    Dr. Namrata GR Raut (CEC Member)

    Dr. Namrata GR Raut is from Janakpurdham and her village is Khajuri-Chanha, now known as Janaknandini. Dr. Raut finished her undergraduate and Ph.D. in the USA and is currently working as a Research Fellow at the Cincinnati Childre’s Hospital Medical Center, Ohio. Dr. Raut has been associated with ANTA since 2014 and is keen on serving the community in an active role as ANTA’s CEC member.

    Dr. Namrata is a valuable addition to our team and brings in a lot of energy, passion, and voice for our community. She often writes about Mithila culture and traditions in leading newspapers of Nepal.

  • Diwakar Jaiswal (CEC Member)

    Diwakar Jaiswal (CEC Member)

    Mr. Diwakar Jaiswal is from Kapilvastu, Nepal, staying in Morrisville, NC for the last 8 years. He is working as Sr. Business System Analyst in a Major Insurance company in the State of Florida. Mr. Jaiswal completed his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from India and moved to the US after completion.

    Mr. Jaiswal is a life Member of ANTA and currently serving as a Board Member. He is passionate about social causes, offers an unique perspective to the organization, and has persistently supported our organization ANTA.

  • Pratibha Karn (CEC Member)

    Pratibha Karn (CEC Member)

    Mrs. Pratibha Karn was born and brought up in the ancient and sacred city of Janakpur Dham. She did her BCA from Kathmandu University and later moved to India for higher studies. She did MBA in finance from Pune University, where she was also awarded the best student of the year for both her academic years there. She has worked in organizations in various technological, finance and managerial positions.

    In personal life, she is a married and loving mother of a 6 years old son. Even after being away from Mithila, her values are deeply rooted in Maithili culture. She's determined to invest her time and efforts for the betterment of Mithila and spread the word about the great Maithili culture.

  • Nasim Ansari (CEC Member)

    Mr. Nasim Ansari is an ANTA’s life member and serves as a Board Member. He is an entrepreneur and currently living in Lexington, KY. He is originally from Kalaiya, Bara, Nepal. Mr. Ansari is very passionate about the community service we do and is involved with most of the ANTA activities.

  • Sahil Khan (CEC Member)

    Sahil Khan (CEC Member)

    Mr. Salauddin (Sahil) Khan hails from Kapilvastu, Nepal. He earned his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi, and pursued his Masters at the University of Kentucky in the USA. Additionally, he graduated in Data Science from Santa Clara, USA.

    With over a decade of professional experience in construction and operations across diverse sectors and industries in India, Qatar, and Nepal, Mr. Khan moved to the USA in 2020. His interests span science, religion, and economics, and he is deeply committed to philanthropy, particularly towards supporting orphanages within the community.

    Currently residing in Akron, Ohio, Mr. Khan serves as a Sr. Data Analyst at Amazon, bringing his wealth of expertise to the forefront of data analytics.

  • Anil Chaudhary (CEC Member)

    Anil Chaudhary (CEC Member)

    Mr. Anil Chaudhary, originally from Siraha, Nepal, now calls Houston, Texas, home. Holding a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Kathmandu University (2015) and a Master’s from the University of Houston (2018), he’s a dedicated engineer in Texas. Currently, he serves as the Supervising Engineer for the City of Houston, following five years at the Texas Department of Transportation. An avid soccer player and a passionate reader and traveler, Mr. Chaudhary resides in Houston with his wife and son.

    Mr. Chaudhary takes pride in his community and actively contributes to its betterment, wholeheartedly supporting it in every possible way.
