ANTA Bylaws were revised and passed in November 2012. In February 2013, ANTA’s Bylaws was sent to all members. A copy of Bylaws was posted on ANTA’s website in February 2013. Several positions including the Joint Secretary, Advisory Board, Chief Technology Officer, and Executive Member were finalized and filled in November 2012. In December 2012, Dr. Binod Sah (past president) and Mr. Lalit Jha (current president) were elected by the executive committee as ANTA HOD for NRN NC. ANTA raised a total of $1,437.80 through its members to assist Mr. Jay Mandal, one of ANTA’s advisory board members. Mr. Mandal was undergoing a surgery at the time. ANTA’s members donated for the “Cold Wave in Terai” relief program. ANTA did a press release on the relief program. Over the year, ANTA has been seeking partnership with various entities, i.e. non-for profit organizations in Nepal, working for the betterment of Terai and Terians. ANTA’s main objective is to facilitate some programs and projects in Terai through these entities. In July 2013, ANTA successfully collaborated with Sarlahi Social Welfare Foundation (SSWF) in scholarship project. Dr. Vijay Jha, the residing treasurer, submitted Nepalese Rupees (Nrs) 81,000 equivalent of $850 to SSWF. About 25 poor children of elementary school are benefiting from the donation in form of scholarships for a full-year.
