ANTA has provided us such opportunities to feel that we are one family and to join hands in celebrating our festivals like Holi and Chhatha, helping each other here in the US, and extending our helping hands to fellow Teraians in Nepal. To extend humanitarian service is inherent in Teraian culture. In the past, the ANTA family has contributed at the time of natural disasters like flooding, cold wave, etc. as well as for education and socio-economic development in Terai. However, humanity does not see the differences among people of different colors and origins. That is why ANTA was at the forefront of news in providing humanitarian help thorough ‘Meals on Wheel’ and ‘Free Health Camp’ programs to the earth-quake victims in the mountains. ANTA, a symbol of unity among Teraians in America, has become a household word in Teraian families in its home country as well as its members’ motherland.
