As you glance through this newsletter, you will find how much ANTA as a team care and are concerned for our brothers and sisters back in the home country, Nepal. We may be living in a land of freedom and opportunity yet in deep pain to feel the sufferings of our brothers and sisters for the fights for basic freedom and opportunity in our homeland. ANTA cares highly for Teraian “Identity, Integration and Empowerment” for the very reason we stand for it. ANTA has been trying its best for bringing a global awareness of Human Rights violations in Nepal towards Terai-Madhesh, as well as earthquake-affiliated impacts through a press release, protest rally, and interactive talk programs. As a part of strengthening the networking and collaboration with other Nepalese organizations in the USA, ANTA’s President, Dr. J. P. Sah participated in the Dashain program organized by the United Florida Nepali Association Florida Association of Nepalese Societies (United FNA-FANS). ANTA, as a part of the Earthquake Relief Fund, had raised $1,400 under a fundraising program “Nickels for Nepal”. ANTA also provided $1,000 to three schools for a total of $3,000 to LBSC (Let’s Build School Campaign) - a local NGO.
