Swing for Support: Using Cricket to Make a Difference!

We are excited to announce the ANTA Premier League 2025, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 4th October 2025, at Emerald Baseball Fields in Dublin, OH. The tournament will commence at 8:00 AM, and we invite you to join us for a day filled with competitive cricket, camaraderie, and community spirit.

Registration Process: To participate, please register your team below and make a payment of the $175 per team participating (deadline: 26th September 2025) fee via Zelle to antatreasurer@gmail.com or through the PayPal link. By registering, you acknowledge the risks involved, confirm you are in good health, and consent to the use of your image for promotional purposes.

Event Details:

Tournament Format:

  • Teams: Each team consists of 7 players & 1 substitute, if needed

  • Overs: The format is T7, where each team will play 7 overs, with each bowler allowed to bowl a maximum of 2 overs. The ball will be provided by the organizers.

  • Age restriction: 18+

Batting Rules:

  • Extras: Runs will be awarded for Wides and no-balls as per standard cricket rules. A no-ball will result in a free hit for the batting team.

  • Run-out: If a batsman is run-out, the team loses that wicket, and the next batsman comes in.

  • No LBW Rules

  • New batsman will take strike in case of catch out. (New ICC Rule)

Bowling Rules:

  • No-Ball Penalty: Any front-foot no-ball will result in a free hit.

  • Wide Ball: A delivery bowled wide of the stumps will be penalized with an extra run and an extra ball.

Fielding Rules:

  • Field Restrictions: During non-powerplay overs, a maximum of 4 fielders are allowed outside circle.

  • Substitutions: Substitute fielders are allowed, but they cannot bowl or bat unless they are officially part of the 7 playing members.

Scoring and Results:

  • In case of a tie, a Super Over will decide the winner till winner is decided.

  • Points System: Winning teams get 2 points. In the case of a tie, each team gets 1 point.

  • Net Run Rate (NRR): If teams are tied on points, the Net Run Rate will determine the rankings.

Conduct and Fair Play:

  • Sportsmanship: Players are expected to maintain the spirit of the game. Any unsporting behavior may result in penalties, including suspension.

  • Umpire's Decision: The umpire’s decision is final and must be respected.

  • Main Umpire will be provided by organizing committee.

  • Leg umpire will be from the batting team.

Safety and Equipment

  • Protective Gear: Helmets and other protective gear are strongly recommended.

  • Ground Rules: Specific ground rules (like boundaries, etc.) will be discussed before each match.

Miscellaneous

  • Weather Conditions: In case of bad weather, the match can be shortened or rescheduled as per the organizers' decision.
    Disputes: Any disputes or disagreements will be resolved by the organizing committee, whose decision will be final.
